Key features of swim goggles

Waterproof seal (to avoid fogging), optical correction, resistance to sea salt and chlorine.
The chlorine in pool water can attack your corneas. Depending on the time you spend in the water, the symptoms can range from simple irritation to temporary blindness.
Contact lenses: in addition to the risk of losing them, when you wear your contact lenses in the pool with your eyes open, they can trap microorganisms (which resisted the chlorine) and lead to eye infection.

After using the swim goggles, it is imperative to rinse them in lukewarm water – and nothing but – to keep them in the best condition.

Some useful tips

For superior performance under these conditions, our swim goggles are equipped with hypoallergenic silicone seals to keep water out, and feature anti-fog and anti-UV coatings.
Generally, optical correction is provided via corrective lenses.
For higher-power prescriptions, a custom-made lens with a rounded shape ensures the proper correction. Tinted swim goggles are not recommended for indoor use, but are well-suited for swimming outdoors under the sun.
